Why interviewers ask this
This question aims to assess your decision-making skills and how you handle challenging situations. Interviewers are interested in your thought process, the factors you considered, and how you weighed the potential outcomes of your decision. Red flags may include indecisiveness or a lack of accountability if candidates struggle to explain their rationale or the consequences of their choices.
